The 24rd Académie Francis Poulenc will take place in Tours:

From August 17, 2020, to August 27, 2020.
Title "A melodic carnival of animals"

Elements required: 

PLEASE SEND a photo, a personal bio, a letter of application, a CD or DVD (or mp3 added to an email) figuring at least two recorded songs in French, and a list of at least 12 melodies comprising : 

• 3 French animal songs (texts taken, for example, from Desnos' Chantefables, from Apollinaire's Bestiaire, from Jules Renard's Histoires naturelles, and songs like the 4 animal ones by Chabrier, etc.)

• 3 Songs on La Fontaine's Fables (i.e. Caplet's Trois Fables de La Fontaine, see our website for more ideas)

• 3 French songs by living composers

• Le Bestiaire cycle by Poulenc
